Why We Like It

• Inspired by Frank Lloyd Wright and enlivened by Hugh Hefner: It served as the Playboy Club Hotel until 1983, attracting celebs and lots of fanfare. Sadly, few bunny sightings of late.
• The resort is overflowing with activities outside of its colorful history. Two pools, skiing, horseback riding, tennis, golf, rock climbing and tons of weekly adventures.
• Lest we forget, but you probably won’t miss it: the 50,000-square-foot indoor year-round Moose Mountain Falls Waterpark.
• All this running around, and we’re hungry. Where to eat is a tough decision between the fine dining, casual cuisine, ice cream shop, coffeehouse and more. Good luck.
